'The Bowerbird' Shortlisted for the Yoto Carnegie medal for Illustration 2024!

I am absolutely delighted that little Bert the Bowerbird has been shortlisted for this amazing award - The Yoto Carnegie Medal for illustration.
The Yoto Carnegies are the UK’s longest running and best-loved children’s book awards, recognising outstanding reading experiences created through writing and illustration in books for children and young people.
The Yoto Carnegie Medal for Illustration is awarded by children’s librarians for an outstanding book in terms of illustration for children and young people.
I must give huge thanks to the team at Macmillan Children's Books and of course to the inimitable Julia Donaldson for such a heartwarming story and of course the fabulous Bert!
